Kitchen (Over 18 age):

Feeding our community takes many hands.  Please join our kitchen family in tasks such as serving lines, preparing appetizers, pie cutting, and cleaning dishes.  

Volunteer time:  Check in 9 – 930am

Team meeting: 945am 

Volunteer Hours: 10am to 2:30pm

 

Kitchen Clean Up Crew (over 18 age):

Very important task helping us behind the scenes keeping those yummy holiday meals flowing by organizing, and cleaning our cooking supplies.

2 Shifts:

1st Shift Volunteer time:  Check in 9 – 930am

Team meeting: 945am 

Volunteer Hours: 10am to 1pm 

2nd Shift Volunteer time:  Check in 11 – 1130am

Team meeting: 1145am 

Volunteer Hours: 12p to 3p 

 

Kids Zone (Over 14 age):

Bring out that kid in you by helping us create a fun and SAFE environment for our younger guests.  We have incredible games, crafts, and blow up adventures.

Volunteer time: Check in 9 – 930am

Team meeting: 945am

Volunteer Hours: 10-230pm (help clean up)

 

Beverage and Bussers (over 18 age):  

Drinks anyone?  Help us create a friendly environment for our guests by fulfilling drink requests, and “tidying up” the space as guests finish their meal.

Volunteer time: Check in 9 – 930am

Team meeting 945am

Volunteer Hours: 10am-230pm (help clean up)

 

Servers (Over 18 age): 

Give our guests that “cared for” holiday spirit by serving our fabulous turkey and fixings meal to each one.

Hostess/Host (Over 18 age):

Greet our guests with your fabulous smile, and help us maximize our open seating throughout the event.

Share A Meal:

How about those Bengals?  Love to relax and enjoy a meal and conversation with someone?  This family friendly position allows you to spend the holiday meal engaging with our guests and enjoying each other’s company.

Clean Up Party:

We couldn’t have such a complete event without our amazing Clean Up Crew.  Love to give back, but can’t make our 10am – 2pm event?  This is a family friendly time helping us “tidy up”.  Tasks include breaking down each space such as Health Zone, Hair Salon, Coat Shop, decorations, tables, vacuuming, and overall returning the convention center to order.

Volunteer time:  Check in 1 – 1:30pm

Team meeting: 1:45

Volunteer: 2 – 4:30p

Love to brighten someone’s day?  Please help us check-in our wonderful volunteers.

Volunteer time:  Check in: 7 – 7:30am

Kitchen – Fall Feast to go (Over 18 age):

We can’t get enough of loving on our city, not only do we prepare a wonderful holiday meal for our guests at Duke Energy Convention Center, but we also team up with local organizations to provide meals for our community neighbors. 

Volunteer time:  Check in 730 – 745am

Volunteer hours:  8am – 12pm

 

Coat Shop (Over 18 age):

Bring that warmth and love to our guests by helping us provide a winter coat, gloves, hats, scarves.  Each guest receives a guided shopping experience to help him or her find the perfect coat.  We also need volunteers to keep our space organized and refilled as our day progresses.  

Volunteer time:  Check in 8 – 8:30am

Volunteer hours: 9am – 2pm

 

Social Ambassadors (Over 18 age):

Love to interact with folks, and help them find their way around?  Enjoy getting your steps in while engaging with our guests to greet them, and guide them throughout areas such as Health Zone, Hair Salon, Coat Shop, and Grand Ballroom.  

Volunteer time:  Check in 8 – 8:30am

Volunteer hours: 9a – 2pm

 

Guest Registration (Over 18 age):

The spirit of the holiday shines through as we greet, and check our guests in.  Other activities include helping our guests with wristbands that match services such as coats, hair and health zones.

I, being at least 18 years of age today, hereby execute this Release and Waiver of Liability (this “Release”) in favor of Give Back Cincinnati, an Ohio nonprofit corporation, and its directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively “GIVE BACK”). I desire to work as a volunteer for GIVE BACK and engage in the activities related to being a volunteer.I understand that the activities may include rehabilitating and improving residential or commercial buildings internally or externally as so designated by GIVE BACK. I understand that these activities may include the use of equipment and place me in situations that may pose a risk of harm to me. I acknowledge I have the right and responsibility to cease participating in these activities or tasks, at any time, based on my personal comfort level. I hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress execute this Release under the following terms: 1. Waiver and Release. I hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless GIVE BACK and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from acts of volunteerism for GIVE BACK. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges GIVE BACK from any liability or claim that I may have against GIVE BACK with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from my work for, or involvement with, GIVE BACK whether caused by the negligence of GIVE BACK or its officers, directors, employees, or agents or otherwise. I also understand that GIVE BACK does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance, in the event of injury or illness. 2. Medical Treatment. I hereby release and forever discharge GIVE BACK from any claim whatsoever that arises or may hereafter arise on account of first aid, treatment, or service rendered, or lack thereof, in connection with my work for GIVE BACK. 3. Assumption of Risk. I understand that the work for GIVE BACK may include activities that may be hazardous to me, including, but not limited to, rehabilitating and improving, loading and unloading and transportation to and from work sites. In connection thereto, I recognize and understand that activities at GIVE BACK may, in some situations, involve inherently dangerous activities. I hereby expressly and specifically assume the risk of injury or harm in these activities and release GIVE BACK from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from the activities of the my work for or other involvement with GIVE BACK 4. Insurance. I understand that GIVE BACK does not carry or maintain primary health, medical, life or disability insurance coverage for any volunteer. Each 11392785.1 volunteer is expected and encouraged to obtain his or her own medical or health insurance coverage. 5. Photographic Release. I hereby grant and convey unto GIVE BACK all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by GIVE BACK during the my work for GIVE BACK, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings. 6. Other. I expressly agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Ohio and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable. My electronic submission of this Release is intended to be and shall be deemed my legal signature and my acceptance of this Release.
