POSITION: Chair of the Board / Capacity and Sustainability
I was born and raised in Cincinnati. I went away for four years while attending Boston College, yet returned to obtain my law degree at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. I am now a practicing attorney with the law firm of Strauss Troy. My practice is focused on tax and estate planning, as well as general corporate matters and real estate transactions. I currently reside in Prospect Hill. I have served as the leader of Civic Engagement Committee and in the role as President of the Executive leadership team of Give Back.
What GBC Means to Me:
Give Back means engaging Cincinnatians in our community; young and old, new to the area and those whose families have resided here for generations. The energy and passion that each member displays for bettering our community during Give Back events have inspired me to devote my time and efforts to continue and embolden the mission of this great organization. As I have transitioned out of my former roles I have enjoyed seeing new leaders develop and step up to carry out Give Back’s aspirational goals.
I am passionate about soccer and traveling, hence I have a goal to attend each and every FIFA World Cup for as long as I am able. I started in 2006, traveling to Germany to see the USA-Ghana match. In 2010, I traveled to South Africa and attended four amazing matches and saw the USA in an epic match against Portugal in the Brazilian jungle city of Manaus. I hope to live long enough to see the day when the USA brings home the World Cup.
