POSITION: Chair of the Board / Capacity and Sustainability
I live in Prospect Hill with my wife, Mary Kate, and two kids, Rory and Oliver. I’ve served in a number of roles with GBC, beginning with Civic Engagement Lead, then President, and now as Chairperson – acting as a member of the Leadership Development Committee. I am currently an in-house counsel for the Ohio National Life Insurance Company.
Why I got involved with GBC:
I saw the impact the organization has and what it can make, and I felt compelled to join up and contribute.
Why others should get involved:
GBC can serve many needs, whether it be community or purpose. It is easy to find a home and engage with our organization through our variety of events.
What makes GBC unique:
Our willingness to turn over the reigns to new leadership every year. Our leadership development process makes us unique.
First GBC event:
Member’s Choice: Gorman Heritage Farm.
Favorite GBC event:
Any Leadership Development event!
What excites me about 2018:
Seeing the growth and development of all of our new leaders. I love the creativity and ideas that are generated.
I’ve been to the past three World Cups, but that streak will come to an end because the US MNT failed to qualify for Russia 2018.
