2018 Leadership Event #1: The Who, What, Why & How of Give Back Cincinnati
Give Back Cincinnati’s Leadership Committee invites you to attend the first leadership training session of 2018! During this super interactive event, we’ll share more about who we are as an organization, what we do and why we make the choices we make, and how we execute our events. We’ll also spend some time brainstorming future events that Cincinnati-area YPs will love. Whether you’re already part of a committee or you’re simply interested in figuring out where you fit in the organization, come learn about how you can be part of taking Give Back Cincinnati events to the next level.
Who Should Attend: Anyone who is currently involved or would like to be involved in a Give Back Cincinnati committee, including hands-on, interactive, civic engagement, and social events; Paint the Town, Fuel, Fall Feast, Cincinnati YP or Give Back Beyond; and executive board members.
When: Saturday, January 27
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by networking at Brother’s Bar & Grill
Where: Newport on the Levee
Community Room A, located on the lower level next to Gameworks
What’s on the Agenda: The Leadership Committee will supply breakfast and liquid gold (aka coffee). We’ll then dive into GBC operations in three parts: Give Back Cincinnati 101, how to run a GBC event and future event ideas. After you provide some feedback, we’ll head to Brother’s Bar & Grill to continue the discussion and the getting-t0-know-you.
What to Bring: You may want to take notes, so bring whatever device you are comfortable with (including good ol’ fashioned pen & paper).
What You’ll Get: Other than the pride of being involved in Give Back Cincinnati? Following the event, we’ll share our Nuts & Bolts and Culture guides to help you really dig into getting things done. Our goal is also to provide a forum for idea sharing, meeting your fellow GBCers and learning a few tricks for flawlessly executing GBC events.
