Hands-On: Trail Blazin’

Join us on Saturday, September 15, for our fourth Hands-On event of the year, Trail Blazin’!

Volunteers will group up at Gorman Heritage Farm to help beautify and widen a path for a corn maze; paint a chicken coop; and clean up at the end of the event. Please plan to get down and dirty! Volunteers should, at a minimum wear pants; we also recommend long sleeves.

After the event, we’ll head over to Blue Goose Sports Cafe (11060 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241) for a GBC Happy Hour!

Hi I am trying to organize a volunteer day in honor of one of my sons friends who passed away last year. My son and his friends went to Moeller and are a very close knit group. His friends family lives in in Reading and thought this event would be close for our group to participate in.

Hi Jennifer! Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age, and as long as they are, it shouldn’t be a problem to have your son and his friends participate in this event. We ask that each volunteer register separately, but if you know approximately how many volunteers you will have, we can ensure your group stays together. The nice thing about our events is that they are completely turnkey: volunteers show up, eat a little breakfast, work hard and enjoy an opportunity to socialize with one another afterwards. Does that help? Thanks!
